Louisiana Families First

Louisiana Family First is a statewide coalition of advocacy and civic organizations that supports increasing Louisiana families’ access to paid leave, improving infant and maternal health outcomes, and supporting our growing aging population. The group also operates nationally, acting as a proponent for paid family and medical leave throughout our country.

The heart of the matter.

We were brought on to develop a website for Louisiana Family First that would operate cohesively with its parent organization’s page, Paid Leave in the United States (PL+US). While mirroring their color palette, we created a logo that captures the overarching value of Louisiana Families First — care. Additionally, we designed each aspect of their website, from sitemap to call-to-actions, including a feature to promote community awareness and interaction by enabling visitors to share their experiences relating to the struggles of receiving paid leave.
