The 20 for 20 Grant recipient will be selected by a panel on the Deep Fried team based on a combination of qualitative factors that reflect both the needs of the organization and the potential for lasting community impact. Our goal is to invest in a nonprofit that not only aligns with Deep Fried's values, but is ready to collaborate, grow, and benefit significantly from the opportunity. Selection will be guided by our evaluation and perception of:

Clarity of Mission: a clearly articulated purpose that’s easy to understand and champion

Mission Alignment: organizations whose work focuses on public-serving categories such as healthcare, human services, community programs, arts & culture, education, youth and adult services, and environmental protection

Potential for Impact: measured by the number of people served and the potential for increased financial sustainability, program reach, or audience growth

Demonstrated Marketing Need: an outdated or ineffective website that limits the organization’s ability to tell its story or engage its audience

Feasibility of Project Scope: the degree to which the requested needs and expectations can realistically be delivered within the budget and timeline of this in-kind grant

Storytelling Potential: the opportunity to build something meaningful that can be publicly showcased and used to inspire others

Organizational Readiness: internal leadership and operational stability, with a designated staff member to lead the website project

Ability to collaborate: commitment to a clear timeline, responsiveness, and a willingness to engage as a true creative partner

Eligibility Criteria: ability to meet the baseline eligibility requirements
