Bayou District Foundation is a group of strategic partners who have worked to redevelop and revitalize New Orleans’ Bayou District and neighboring areas since 2006. They have worked to create a new mixed-income community complete with schools, recreation and support services on the site of the former St. Bernard public housing development, the surrounding Gentilly neighborhood and adjacent City Park.

A holistic website for a holistic non-profit.

Deep Fried needed to develop a responsive website for Bayou District Foundation, with goals to strengthen their identity and brand, and to attract funders, strategic partners and other similar foundations to their model. Their website now communicates their holistic community revitalization plan created to break the cycle of poverty in New Orleans (and other cities) through access to quality education, affordable housing, healthcare, groceries and community programming. We broke up their programming into the sections of Education, Housing, Health, Wellness & Support, as well as a section about their Bayou Oaks Golf initiative for a more comprehensive view of their work.
