Telling the story of a New Orleans institution.

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation is a non-profit created in 1970 that runs the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival—Jazz Fest—with a mission to sow the seeds of our unique culture for generations to come. It has since become a staple of our city, serving as a lighthouse of education, community support, and cultural preservation.

The Foundation’s Gold Addy Award winning custom website was designed and built by our team to house everything the Foundation has to offer—education, events, festivals, volunteer opportunities, and more. With their color palette of black, yellow & white, and typefaces with a retro feel, the website stands out as something uniquely and wholly New Orleans.

Diving into the archives.

To celebrate the history of the Foundation and Festival on their website, our team dug through the Foundation’s archives to find images and video clips. We edited the colorful and fast-paced hero banner to give users an eye-catching glimpse of what the Foundation is all about when they first visit the website. We used these photos and videos, along with immersive copywriting, to tell the Foundation’s story.
