E Pluribus Unum Fund

NON-PROFIT & COMMUNITY, LAW & POLICY

Out of many, one.

E Pluribus Unum Fund is an initiative created to fulfill America’s promise of justice and opportunity for all by breaking down the barriers that divide us by race and class. The project, which was incubated by Emerson Collective and led by former New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu, was initiated to determine how we can creatively find common ground. Unum followed a team that traveled extensively across the American South to uncover and document what separates us and what can bring us together, to find bold and practical solutions to tackle the modern legacy of Jim Crow so that an inclusive South may be born.

Findings from the American South.

Our agency designed the logo and website to kickoff the Unum campaign and later created the fully customized and interactive “Divided by Design” website. Along with the websites, we developed infographics and visual metrics, custom imagery styles, and the entire concept, design, and development of the book based on the “Divided by Design” website. The book included original copy and stunning imagery, which was also highlighted in a smaller brochure handout we produced for their site launch.

New Orleans ADDY Award

Divided by Design was awarded two Silver Addy’s and one Bronze Addy in 2020 for brand campaign, book design, and website. The website was also awarded with a 2020 American Web Design Award
