Costera is an Uptown New Orleans’ new coastal Spanish restaurant and bar. Their unique menu features coastal Spanish cuisine featuring local produce and Gulf seafood. Standout signature dishes include their large format seafood paellas. Designers impressively transformed the space into a 110-seat dining room with communal dining and an 18-seat bar, to invoke an authentic old-world Spain dining experience.

The “Sea-lion” sea creature image was taken from an old reference from old map etchings. It has a certain funky playfulness that the owners were looking for in their branding. We updated the etching and redrew it to better function as a mark for multiple uses.
