As a life-long lover of all things creative and delicious, Emery has happily called New Orleans home—minus a 9-month stint in Portugal—since graduating from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and minors in Art History and Business in 2018. The shimmering energy of New Orleans fuels her studio practice and continuously captures her curiosity and imagination; she just can’t stay away! Along with her career as an artist, Emery has managed galleries, curated exhibitions, and collaborated on sensorial projects with creatives she met while working in the hospitality industry (ever wonder what a painting would taste like..?).
Emery brings her observational eye and creative sensitivity to various departments within Deep Fried to keep things flowing, and when she’s not here you can be sure to find her looking up at her favorite trees in City Park or sipping a cappuccino while brainstorming new projects.
