Integrated Media Buyer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Integrated Media Buyer to work with a multitude of the agency’s clients, across a wide array of industries. The Media Buyer is responsible for placing media across all platforms, from display and social media to television / OTT and out of home. They are responsible for managing and optimizing budgets, across campaigns on varying timelines; some projects may span weeks or months, while other accounts are on ongoing / long-term contracts. Whether working on a single geo-targeted digital campaign, an outdoor awareness campaign, or a full-funnel / multi-channel campaign, they have a deep understanding of the context that different platforms offer, and audiences they reach. They are passionate about helping clients meet their goals, and are deliberate in researching, developing and presenting their solutions. They are meticulous in time management, dotting i’s, managing expenses, and reporting. And every day, they bring a positive attitude and team spirit to the workplace.
This position is based in our New Orleans, LA office. The position is available now and first interviews will be held remotely by Zoom. No recruiters. Deep Fried is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Desired Experience
- Minimum 2-5+ years of integrated and digital media planning & buying experience for clients in an agency setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrated Media: strategy, planning & placement across multi-channel, full-funnel campaigns
- Vendor Management: media relationships, buying, negotiations & contracts
- Audience Development: analyze & build consumer personas, target markets & audiences
- Marketing Strategy: KPI’s, goals, attribution & campaign strategy development
- Client Presentations: build & deliver media plans, strategy decks & presentations
- Creation, Auditing & Reconciliation of IO’s, Invoices & Expenses
- Analytics, Insights & Reporting
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will be someone who should have:
- Well-rounded understanding of multi-channel, full-funnel marketing
- Traditional media experience working with TV, radio, out-of-home, print, direct mail
- Digital media experience working with online video, OTT, display, geo, SEM, social & retargeting
- Ability to balance budgets across all marketing needs, building short-term to annual plans, with an understanding of creative / production costs required for different channels / objectives
- Strong sense of KPI’s, goals, and attribution strategies
- Comprehension of media planning and budgeting (fee versus commission structures)
- Working knowledge of media vendor landscape, offerings and inventory (local, regional, national)
- Ability to manage a variety of digital / integrated campaigns with differing timelines and run dates
- Strong presentation skills, comfortable with building plans / decks and pitching ideas
- Strong emphasis on incorporating and implementing emerging and digital media and an existing understanding of DSP management
- Meticulous organizational and time management skills
- Strong math skills for auditing and reconciliation of expenses as well as reporting
