Deep Fried is a full-service, New-Orleans based creative and interactive agency. We help businesses reach their potential by building memorable brands and cross-channel campaigns that speak to their customers.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Account Executive, based in Baton Rouge, LA. For this role, we are looking for an energetic self-starter who is committed to developing strong relationships that lead to new business opportunities, while developing additional business from our existing client roster. They are passionate about helping clients meet their goals, and are deliberate in researching, developing and presenting solutions.

Our ideal candidate would have:

  • 3+ years successful business development experience in an advertising agency setting
  • Working knowledge of agency processes and platforms, including creative, digital & web
  • Proficiency in all aspects of the sales cycle, including qualifying accounts
  • Ability to draft well-written proposals based on client needs and define scopes of work
  • Commitment to working in a team-based environment
  • Ability to work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Job Resonsiblities

  • Manage business development efforts, mainly in the Greater Baton Rouge area, that align with Deep Fried’s annual goals
  • Develop and execute a plan to identify and convert high-value client prospects
  • Meet with business prospects to assess their fit with Deep Fried
  • Develop proposals, estimates & Scopes of Work (SOW)
  • Maintain a list of leads to be used by the sales team
  • Serve as first point of contact for most leads
  • Filter through RFP & RFIs and determine if they are a good fit for our agency to pursue
  • Serve as team lead for RFP and RFI responses
  • Work with team leads and the sales & marketing team on developing new business presentations
  • Develop creative briefs based on client requests and initiatives, and onboard creative, media, and interactive teams
  • Strategically grow our client base by leveraging the agency’s experience through prospecting and pitching new business
  • Attend networking events and have the ability to travel to/from New Orleans when necessary
